The Challenge: As the biochar industry scales globally, there is a critical need for standardized, high-quality operational training. The IBI required a comprehensive curriculum that could bridge the gap between scientific theory and practical, safe plant operation for technicians worldwide.

The Solution: We were engaged to design and develop a formal Biochar Operators Course. This involved:

• Curriculum Architecture: Mapping out the end-to-end journey of biochar production, from feedstock handling and pyrolysis parameters to quenching and post-processing.

• Safety & Compliance Integration: Ensuring global best practices for fire safety, dust management, and hazardous area operations were central to the training.

• Technical Communication: Translating complex thermochemical processes into digestible, actionable modules for plant operators.

The Result: A standardized global training program that empowers operators to produce high-quality biochar safely and efficiently. This project helps professionalize the industry and ensures that new biochar ventures can scale with a well-trained, safety-conscious workforce.
